Esther Murray and Nerie Reyes, my late wife. Two Brave Women

Created by Ruben V. 6 years ago

My wife Neria and Esther were best friends. They had much in common. They strived to make their own lives better, they worked hard towards achieving their goals and fulfilling their dreams. They looked after their families - their husbands, children, and extended members. They lived their lives between England, the Philippines, and where eveer their child had decided to live.

They also helped many people. I know Esther supported many young people through school. I also know she and Patrick lent out their pub free of charge for events and venues. Esther was a generous benefactor, and did not brag about it My wife was the same. Their legacies live on through the people they have helped who are now living successful lives.

Nerie and Esther were clever, resourceful, dynamic, loving women who grabbed life and lived it to the full.

When Nerie discovered she had breast cancer, Esther was a supportive friend who encouraged her and gave her hope. When Esther was sick, Nerie was with her, telling her to be positive, telling her to live for the future. They were brave women who knew how to laugh, cry, and care for themselves, each other, and for loved ones.

I miss Esther. I miss my wife. And I miss seeing the two of them being happy together.

I, with my children - Richard and Raquel, my grandchildren - Gaia, Cosmo, and Amelie - are deeply saddened by your loss. We condole with you and comfort you and reassure that your mother was loved and will be remembered.
